Forever Grateful

12/13/21

This past week in ISM I finished up my original work project. I finalized everything by transferring my research onto my pamphlet, making the final touches on my website, and by lastly writing my set-up and completion paragraphs. This project had so much meaning for me because it allowed me free-range to pursue whatever I wanted, which is something that I had never experienced before in a classroom setting. I not only learned about sports-concussions on a deeper level, but I simultaneously got to spread awareness to other individuals on the matter, which was so empowering for me. This project was moreover so rewarding for me because it did not feel like “Work,” but rather something I looked forward to working on. This project was so motivating because I never quite felt so eager to work on a project as I did this one, as in the past working on school projects was not something I ever looked forward to. In the end, I felt so accomplished after finishing everything I had envisioned back in October, when I had originally proposed this idea. This project further ignited my passion for sports neurology, and is something I will be forever grateful for having the freedom to do whatever I desired and develop a concept so endearing to me.
