This week in ISM I made my first ever resume. It was a difficult task for me to think of all the things I’ve done and condense it into a one page document, however, I think I chose the right things to brag about. I learned through the resume prep videos, that you should only put down the most “brag-worthy” stuff , yet it was hard for me to decifier what those were in my life. Through this process, I was forced to look back on all my life-experience, so it was a very nostalgic thing for me to do. I also went shopping for professional clothing this week. I found myself thinking way deeper into what I was going to buy than I typically would. Some things I analyzed were the lengths of all the pantsuits I tried one, as well as how all the colors would go together. I felt like a true fashion designer! This shopping trip was exciting because trying on all the clothes made me feel like a real working adult! Lastly through my research assessment, I learned of a multiple disciplinary approach to neurology. I discovered that neurological subspecialties can play a crucial part in the diagnosis process, which I had never really considered previously.
